Professional Students’ Summit (PSS) is the Government of Kerala’s (GoK) initiative to get
professional students from varied disciplines and institutions of the state to a common
arena to share ideas to build a better Kerala.
The Government initiated PSS through the
State Planning Board and the Department of Higher Education in 2019, with a view to
motivate students to excel in their respective areas of interest and seize opportunities
arising in the state and the country, and create employment. GoK had assigned ASAP Kerala
as the official organiser of the event.
The one-day conclave witnessed participation of over 2,000 students from second to sixth semesters of nearly 300 professional colleges of Medicine, Law, Engineering, Management, Agriculture and allied streams. A sea of possibilities was presented before the students by academicians and industrialists who shared their stories of success.
During the first edition of the summit in 2019, the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Kerala declared PSS as a periodic event, to be hosted by ASAP Kerala.
